As top television agents with a unique balance of clients, the company handles the flourishing careers of some of the nation’s most talented young artistes, as well as being famous for representing a most prestigious and select list of the longest established star names in television, musical theatre and the media.

YEARS OF SUCCESS

Following the fine traditions of its remarkable founder, Billy Marsh, the Agency continues its proud reputation over years of positive, practical success, through genuine care and absolute commitment to its clients and to the industry which it actively serves.

VAST EXPERIENCE

Billy Marsh Associates is a dynamic, progressive and creative Agency. Led by Billy Marsh’s protégé and business partner, Jan Kennedy, the Agency’s dedicated team handle all aspects of business with enthusiasm and proven ability.

THE HISTORY OF BILLY MARSH

Billy Marsh was one of the leading Theatrical Agents for over 30 years from the earliest days of commercial television. The success and enduring popularity of some of his best-known clients, including Morecambe & Wise, Norman Wisdom and Bruce Forsyth, to name but a few – is possibly the greatest testament to his talent and the esteem with which he is held. Billy was the only Agent ever to be the subject of ‘This is Your Life’.

Respected and as loved as he was, it was agreed that his final resting place would be in The London Palladium which is very fitting for a man who was the doyen of Agents and who helped many stars begin their careers at this wonderful theatre. Billy’s ashes were interred close to the stage where many performers of today see the blue plaque placed in his honour.

We at Billy Marsh Associates proudly continue to bear his name and we were delighted that Billy was chosen to be the subject of ‘Great Lives’ on BBC Radio 4. The programme was presented by Matthew Parris. He talks to Michael Grade who worked with Billy and William G. Stewart who Billy represented for many years. To listen to the programme click here
