Bonnie Langford has packed a wealth of experience into her outstanding career which has embraced success in theatre, television, film and radio in both Britain and America.

Most recently Bonnie took part in the popular show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Take-Away in the weekly feature Ant v. Dec.   She was also on the panel of judges for ITV1’s hit primetime Saturday night show Baby Ballroom which will returning for another series soon.  Bonnie is currently on a UK tour for the second time with Dancing On Ice.


Back in 2006, she was thrilled to take part in ITV1's hit Saturday night show Dancing on Ice for which she undertook one of the most chilling challenges in her career. Partnered by US Pairs figure skating champion Matt Evers and coached by the World famous Olympic Ice Dance champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Bonnie skated her way into the final with spectacular, daring and beautiful routines. Having never in her life skated before, it was an incredible achievement.  Bonnie returned to the ice for the ITV1 Special Champion of Champions before taking part in Dancing on Ice - The Live Tour (now available to buy on DVD) where she won 27 of the 41 live shows!

On London's West End stage, Bonnie has played 'Roxie Hart' in the Global phenomenon that is Chicago at both the Adelphi and Cambridge Theatres.  She has starred in a further seven smash hit musicals including Gone With The Wind at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; Gypsy - Piccadilly Theatre; Cats - New London Theatre (original London cast); The Pirates Of Penzance first at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and later at the London Palladium; Peter Pan - The Musical (playing the title role) at the Aldwych Theatre; Me And My Girl - Adelphi Theatre, and her much acclaimed portrayal of ‘Charity’ in Sweet Charity at the Victoria Palace Theatre. She has also appeared in three Royal Variety Performances and numerous Royal Galas.

On Broadway, she starred at the Winter Gardens Theatre in a revival of the musical Gypsy opposite Angela Lansbury, following a highly successful US tour.

Bonnie appeared in the hit musical film Bugsy Malone and has starred in many British television series including Just William, the award winning Hot Shoe Show, and BBC TV's science fiction series Doctor Who - playing the Doctor's Assistant, ‘Melanie Bush’. She has been the subject of TV's This Is Your Life.

Other recent television appearances include Hotel Babylon (BBC1), Marple (ITV1), The Catherine Tate Show (BBC2), Celebrity Weakest Link (which she won!) (BBC1), Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (ITV1), Hider in the House (BBC2), Strictly Dance Fever (BBC1) as a consultant and advisor to the contestants, A Celebration of the Sound of Music (BBC1) and a guest presenter on The Daily Politics Show (BBC2).  She was a regular co-presenter on the award winning Sandi Toksvig Show for LBC Radio and has presented her own programme on many occasions both for LBC and BBC Radio.

Also in theatre, Bonnie has travelled extensively throughout the UK, most recently starring as 'Miss Adelaide' in Guys and Dolls in the National Tour of the Donmar Theatre Production.  She headlined the US Company of Fosse on the British leg of their International Tour, created the role of ‘Judy’ in Pete 'N' Me at the New End Theatre, Hampstead, and starred in Big Night Out - a new musical play written by Sandi Toksvig with music by Dillie Keane. She continued her great association with Sandi in a UK tour of their comedy show Short and Curly.

At festivals and concert venues around the world, Bonnie's one woman show plays to enormous critical acclaim, paying tribute to music from stage and screen along with jazz, soul and current chart hits, accompanied by her big band of highly skilled musicians.

Her albums include Cats (Original Cast Recording), Gypsy (London Cast Recording), Wuthering Heights, Oliver, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein II, Leading Ladies. She has revisited her role of Mel in several of the Doctor Who audio dramas produced by Big Finish Records.
