Claire Sweeney From a young age Claire Sweeney was destined to become a star after training at the Eliot Clark Stage School in Liverpool and the Italia Conti Stage School in London. Born and raised in Liverpool Claire always had an active interest in sport. Claire supports Everton FC, (for which her adoring Liverpool fans say she can be forgiven!). Claire loves to keep fit and has released her own interactive fitness DVD Perfect Fit in conjunction with Weight Watchers. It became one of the top selling fitness DVDs. In 2002 she won Rear of The Year. Among her various charity works, Claire has worked as the Forces Sweetheart entertaining British Troops abroad. She was the first entertainer to visit the troops in Afghanistan and Oman. Claire is HIV/AIDS Ambassador for Save the Children and has traveled with the charity to look at the impact of AIDS on children in South Africa. Her work there included visiting a children's hospice, meeting communities to see how families are coping with the disease and filming for GMTV in a bid to raise awareness. Claire enjoyed her involvement with one of Billy Marsh’s other clients Rolf Harris in BBC1’s The Big Event, the ‘Rolf on Art’ Special which took place live at Trafalgar Square with numerous artists from all around the country taking part to recreate a giant version of Holbein’s ‘Henry VIII’. Claire loves reading biographies and is particularly fascinated with old Hollywood Movie stars and is constantly reading biographies of legendary actresses. She loves the glamour and class of old Hollywood and always tries to incorporate this in her own style. Claire’s charm, talent and beauty have already won her universal popularity, and she is truly one of Britain’s best loved young stars Billy Marsh Associates Homepage
