James Toseland One of Britain's top motorbike riders and the youngest ever World Superbike Champion James Toseland has had an astonishing career so far. For 15 years, motorcycling was his life. The 31-year-old had reached the pinnacle of the sport, battling with the elite riders of MotoGP and winning two World Superbike Championships. He was forced into early retirement by a wrist injury two months ago which was not only a huge blow to James but also to his thousands of fans. Not one to shy away from a challenge, James is keen on investigating new intellectual and physical challenges and immersive programming. Breaking the world speed record on a bike this year will be just one of the new challenges James has set himself. Totally at home on screen, James has appeared on numerous TV shows including Question of Sport, Jules Holland, Fifth Gear and BBC Sport. Biking is not James' only passion he is also an accomplished pianist. Music has always been part of James' life he has now found himself with the time to really focus on his writing and playing. James currently plays and sings with his band Crash at live and corporate events around the world. He has performed with Queen, Jules Holland and last year played live at the Sports Personality of the Year Awards to his largest ever audience.
