Dale Winton is a national treasure and is regarded as one of the most popular presenters on television. His career covers a wide spectrum of television and radio programmes from major peak time entertainment shows to groundbreaking factual programmes and music specials.

Dale is best-known and loved as the presenter of the hugely popular Supermarket Sweep, the cult programme that captured the heart of the nation. He presents BBC One’s flagship Saturday night peak time show, The National Lottery: In It to Win It, which continues to enjoy phenomenal ratings. Whether interviewing a major international star or having fun with one of the many contestants on his game shows, Dale has a gift for immediately putting his guests completely at ease.

Dale presented two series of Weight of the Nation for BBC1 as part of the ‘Fighting Fat, Fighting Fit’ campaign, Eastenders: Fighting Fit and Kick it with Dale.

Dale’s first job in entertainment was as a DJ on the London club circuit which led to his own morning radio show. Following the legendary Alan Freeman, over many years he made BBC Radio 2’s flagship Saturday afternoon show, Pick of the Pops, his own.  He regularly stands in for Steve Wright in the Afternoon for BBC Radio 2 and is in regular demand to host corporate events and award ceremonies.

His autobiography Dale Winton My Story achieved the ‘Best Seller’ listings.  Dale is an music aficionado – in particular rap music – and knows pretty much all there is to know about fast cars!
